Our thesis

Human first.

Technology keeps getting better at everything except the part that matters — how it feels to be a person on the other end of it. That gap is where we work.

The end user is the whole point.

Not the funnel, not the metric, not the market. If the person at the end of the chain isn't better off, nothing else about the business is interesting to us — however good the numbers look.

Taste is a discipline, not a mood.

Good judgment about quality is trainable, testable, and worth paying for. Most products don't fail on strategy — they fail on a thousand small decisions nobody was accountable for.

Build it to understand it.

We ship our own products because advice given from a distance goes stale. The only reliable way to know what is hard is to have done it recently — with our own hands.

Capital is a relationship.

We invest the way we'd want to be invested in: small cheques, real availability, no theatre. The money is the least valuable thing we bring — and we price it accordingly.

Where to next

See what we build with others.
