Bluecore Energy raises a $50.0M Seed round

Bluecore Energy builds small modular nuclear reactors mounted on floating barges, delivering clean baseload power to ports and the infrastructure around them. Founded in 2026 by Kofi Asante, the company is developing a maritime nuclear system with an initial deployment planned for the Port of Long Beach. The $50M oversubscribed seed round was led by Silverton Partners, with Collab Capital, HartBeat Ventures, Slauson & Co., Harlem Capital and Chris Larsen participating; it closed in eight weeks and follows a $10M pre-seed.
