Atoms is Travis Kalanick's industrial automation and robotics company, built out of his CloudKitchens holding company (rebranded Atoms in 2026) and the acquisition of Anthony Levandowski's automation firm Pronto. It builds physical automation for food, mining, and transport — software-controlled robotics to digitize and automate heavy industry. The $1.7B round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Ben Horowitz joining the board.
